Fuel is a combustible substance containing carbon as the main constituent while other elements associated in different percentages are hydrogen, nitrogen, and sulphur etc. fuels on burning gives large amount of heat, which can be used in a number of ways for industries domestic purpose while the main use now a days is in automobiles. There are variety of fuels in ancient times wood was the main source of fuel for cooking purpose, with the progress of the science a number of alternate fuels like coke, coal, kerosene, diesel, and petrol were used for various purposes especially in automobiles.
