An Inward Journey

From the moors of Northumberland to the plains of Northern India, a young woman, Sophie, sets out on a spiritual journey towards enlightenment; a journey on which she will begin to discover new teachings, spiritual truths and the ancient powers of meditation. In the course of a deeply personal odyssey, Sophie encounters Malcolm Andrews, a man to whom she feels irresistibly drawn. But their emerging love affair, far from making her happy, becomes a cause for intense anguish on Sophie's part. Why is it that she finds herself so troubled? What is she afraid of, and why is she unable to commit to this man? When Sophie arrives in India to stay at the Himalayan ashram to continue her journey of the soul to gain enlightenment, she is finally forced to face these questions.
