Chen Tiangui, with Feng Gu as his pen name, was born in Wushan County, Gansu Province in June 1955. He once served as Deputy Secretary General of Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Director of General Office, and has been engaged in official document writing for a long time. His hobby is to write works in other styles, and his essays, prose, poems, reportage and political comments are published in newspapers or periodicals from time to time. There are more than 10 published books with over 2 million words which are written, compiled or organized by him. His main works include The Collection of Thorns, A Collection of LiteratureaA Collection of Beautiful Antithetical Sentences, New Landscape of Weihe River. This book is one of his collections of poems.
