The Stream, Part 1, Vanished Mountain

Coyote, Trigon and Willow, three young friends living in Castlebrick, Colorado, a high mountain valley filled with soaring pines and gently sloping meadows, are in search of adventure and the tunnels which lie underneath their idyllic town. The final bell on this Friday at Castlebrick Middle School can't ring soon enough.Finally, the school day is over and their chosen adventure begins. But, have they chosen this adventure? Or, has some time and force unknown to the teens chosen them?The secret hidden within Castlebrick, a secret hidden within all living things, flows freely and thick with life's beauty and darkness. Before this spring weekend is over, before winter's thaw is complete, Coyote, Trigon and Willow will learn of things that no young teen should ever know. And they will be asked, with little room for choice, to risk their lives to save us all.
