Decorated war hero Chase Huntsman is a camp caretaker living on the pristine shores of Lake Whatcom in the forests of northwest Washington. When a massive winter storm pounds the region, he is forced into action to save Desiree Chandler, the sole occupant of a runaway boat, just before the craft is smashed on the rocks.
