Secrets in Room Four

Injured and fighting battle fatigue, Captain Joshua Spencer returns home from the Civil War to a small Northwestern town in Pennsylvania, expecting to resume the passionate and loving relationship he shared with his wife Helen four years earlier. During her husband's absence, Helen created a new life for herself and their two young children, a life that she is proud of and reluctant to abandon. Because of this impasse, Joshua feels justified in having his needs met elsewhere, and the chasm between them deepens. Things aren't always as they seem.
