Pursuit of Righteousness

Funny how life turns out sometimes. In the case of Miranda Wilson, coming face-to-face with a terrifying situation changed the course of her priorities forever. Miranda had fought long and hard for this corner office on the eleventh floor of the Leland Import/Export Company building. Her pursuit landed her the coveted position of vice president. In the scheme of things, career was everything. God was irrelevant to her. In fact, she never even thought about God. Now, she was faced with a tremendous decision that might make all the blocks she had stacked over the years come tumbling down. Miranda discovered that this so-called irrelevant God will do whatever it takes to get our attention. The reason is so that we will choose life over death. Sometimes, the ways this righteous God chooses can be annoying, painful, or downright terrifying. But get our attention, He must. It is a matter of life or death. He loves us that much.
