Bobby Joe, a sixteen year-old boy, is discouraged and dejected and is hitchhiking to any place he can find a job. Having been told by his mother to get out of her house and never having met his father, he feels alone and disillusioned. God sent a young man, Peter, to mentor him. He and his wife were very intrigued with Bobby Joe. That is until he was accused of committing murder at the church where he had gone to work. Now they were apprehensive for him.
