When a toxic marriage ends in murder, deadbeat husband Chris Connolly decides to clear his head (and his hands) of the previous night's violent climax. Packing his small hatchback with all the comforts a camper could need, he sets out into Wisconsin's Driftless Area to take in the sights of the beautiful autumn splendor--and to dispose of his wife's remains in the campfire. What Chris doesn't realize yet, is that someone--or something--knows of his crimes, and they are slated to be his judge, jury, and possible executioner.
