A Daddys Girl is a powerful, and at times, heartbreaking story of a young girl who struggles with the absence of a daddys love in her life. In A Daddys Girl, life began for baby girl amid rejection and domestic tumult. When she was just a few days old, her father, in a drug and alcohol haze, rejected her as his child and set into motion events that led to life without him. As the young girl grows, she has to come to terms with never having the love of her biological father, as well as eventually losing the love of her stepfather, the only dad she ever knew. Despite these and other challenges, the young girl flourishes in school and finds solace in reading books.
