A Little Book On Leadership sums up rather nicely what this book is all about. It gives a brief but clear summary of what leadership is and how it can be applied in effective (and sometimes not so effective) ways. This book is a great introduction to anyone curious about leadership and can be also be used as course literature for leadership education. It references some of the most current and accepted research into leadership, motivation and goal setting.
